The Cat Who Taught a Bull to Swim

Barnaby was a small orange cat with enormous green eyes and an even bigger curiosity. He lived on Sunnydale Farm, where the golden wheat swayed like ocean waves in the summer breeze. Every day, Barnaby would trot through the farm, investigating everything from the rustling corn to the babbling creek that wound behind the big red barn.

Behind that barn lived Bruno, a massive black bull with the gentlest heart anyone had ever known. Bruno spent his days watching the other animals play in the creek. He would dip his giant hooves in the cool water, but he never dared to swim. "Bulls are too heavy for swimming," the farmer had once said, and Bruno believed him.

One hot July afternoon, Barnaby noticed Bruno looking sadly at the sparkling creek. The cat's ears perked up with an idea.

"Why so sad, Bruno?" Barnaby asked, his tail twitching with excitement.

Bruno sighed, his warm breath ruffling Barnaby's fur. "I wish I could splash and play in the deep water like the ducks do. But bulls can't swim."

Barnaby's green eyes twinkled. "Who says you can't? Watch me!" The little cat bounded into the creek and began swimming gracefully, his paws moving like tiny paddles.

"See?" Barnaby called. "Swimming isn't about size. It's about believing you can do it!"

Bruno's eyes widened. He stepped into the water, then deeper, and deeper still. His heart pounded like drumbeats, but Barnaby swam beside him, calling out encouragement.

"You're doing it! You're swimming!" Barnaby cheered.

Bruno's face lit up with joy. He was swimming! The great bull splashed and kicked, sending water flying in glittering arcs. From that day forward, every creature on Sunnydale Farm learned that impossible things just need a brave friend who believes in you.
