The Cat Who Swam Through Stars

Luna's cat, Mittens, was no ordinary cat. While most cats slept in sunbeams, Mittens dreamed of swimming through the ocean blue. Every afternoon, Luna watched from their palm tree as Mittens paddled his paws in the bathtub, making little splashy sounds.

'One day, I'll help you swim for real,' Luna promised, scratching Mittens behind his ears.

That evening, something magical happened. While playing padel in the park, Luna's ball sailed over the fence and landed near an old stone pyramid she'd never noticed before. Mittens darted after it, but when Luna caught up, her cat wasn't there.

Instead, a shimmering blue light pulsed from the pyramid's entrance.

'Luna!' Mittens' voice echoed from inside. 'I found the secret swimming pool!'

Luna stepped through the entrance and gasped. The pyramid opened into a vast chamber filled with floating golden spheres. But the most amazing thing was the water—it hovered in mid-air, defying gravity, forming a shimmering river that wound through crystal stalactites.

Mittens was already swimming through the air-water, his fur dry but moving as if he were in a pool. He'd discovered the Pyramid of Floating Dreams, an ancient place where imagination became real.

'Climb onto my back,' Mittens called. 'We can swim anywhere!'

Luna hesitated, then trusted her friend. Together they swam through stars, past nebulas, and even visited the moon's secret beaches. They realized the true magic wasn't the pyramid—it was believing in impossible things together.

When they returned, the pyramid faded away, leaving only an ordinary stone marker. But Luna and Mittens knew better. Every night, they closed their eyes and swam through galaxies, adventures waiting in every dream.
