The Cat Who Swam Through Lightning

Emma loved **running** through her backyard, especially on warm summer evenings. Her golden **cat** Sunny always trotted beside her, his bell jingling softly. One evening, as gray clouds gathered overhead, Emma noticed something strange — Sunny was pacing nervously near the old oak tree, his fur standing straight up.

A crack of **lightning** split the sky, striking the tree! But instead of burning it, the lightning created a shimmering blue pool where the tree's roots had been. "Come in, Emma!" Sunny meowed, but Emma could understand him perfectly! The pool was warm and sparkled with tiny stars. Underwater, they discovered a magical world where fish played **baseball** with pearls for balls and kelp for bats. A team of friendly fish invited Emma to join their game.

"You hit, you run!" cheered a bright orange fish. Emma swung the kelp bat, and the pearl ball flew through the water like a shooting star. She ran — or swam — around the diamond bases, feeling light and free. Sunny cheered from the sidelines, his bell chiming melodiously.

As the game ended, the fish gave Emma a magical pearl that would always remind her of courage and friendship. When she and Sunny swam back through the blue pool, they emerged in her backyard just as the storm cleared. A rainbow stretched across the sky, and Emma knew she'd never forget the day her cat showed her that magic exists in the most unexpected places.
