The Cat Who Swam Among Stars

Luna was a small orange cat who lived in a cozy garden with a single swaying **palm** tree. Every night, she would curl up beneath the palm's broad leaves and gaze at the twinkling stars above.

"I wish I could touch them," she whispered.

One magical night, something wonderful happened. A great fuzzy **bear** with silver-tipped fur padded silently into the garden. Luna's fur stood up, but the bear smiled kindly.

"Don't be afraid, little friend," the bear rumbled gently. "I'm Barnaby, and I swim through the starry sky every night. Would you like to come along?"

Luna's eyes grew wide. "Cats don't like **swimming**!"

Barnaby laughed. "Not in water, silly cat—in starlight! It's much softer and warmer." He held out his great furry paw.

Luna took it, and suddenly they were floating upward, leaving the palm tree far below. The stars weren't far away at all. They were stepping stones of glittering light!

Together, the cat and the bear hopped from star to star. Luna felt like she was dancing on diamonds. Suddenly, a great shape appeared ahead—a mighty **bull** made of shimmering constellations, its horns glowing like moonbeams.

"The Bull of Dreams!" Barnaby whispered. "He guards the wishes of children everywhere."

The starry bull lowered his head and touched Luna's nose with his constellation nose. *You have a brave heart,* he seemed to say without speaking.

Luna understood then that true adventure wasn't about being big or strong—it was about being brave enough to try new things, even when you're small. And about making friends in unexpected places.

When the first light of dawn painted the sky pink, Barnaby carried Luna back to her garden. The palm tree's leaves waved hello.

"Will you visit again?" Luna asked.

"Every night," Barnaby promised. "Look for me in the stars."

Now Luna sleeps beneath her palm tree each night, but she's never lonely. She knows that somewhere up there, a friendly bear is swimming through starlight, and a magical bull is watching over the dreams of brave little cats everywhere.

And whenever she sees the stars twinkle extra bright, she smiles—because she knows they're winking back at their friend.
