The Cat Who Painted Stars

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's farm. One sunny afternoon, she sat on the porch peeling an orange when something magical happened. An orange cat with bright green eyes hopped onto the porch and meowed.

"Hello there," Lily said, offering a piece of orange. The cat sniffed it, then did something extraordinary—it reached out a paw and tapped Lily's old iphone that lay on the table.

The phone screen flickered to life, showing sparkling stars and swirling galaxies. "My name is Barnaby," appeared on the screen in glowing letters.

Lily gasped. "You can talk through my phone?"

Barnaby nodded and tapped the screen again. An image appeared of a large bull standing in a moonlit field. The words read: "My friend Brownie is lonely. Will you come play?"

Lily followed Barnaby across the meadow until they found Brownie, a gentle bull with a coat the color of chocolate. Brownie lowered his massive head and nudged Lily's hand with his soft nose.

"He's beautiful!" Lily exclaimed, scratching behind his ears.

Barnaby hopped onto Brownie's back, and the bull knelt so Lily could climb up too. Together they rode across the farm as the sun set, painting the sky orange and pink. When darkness fell, Barnaby touched Lily's iphone again, and magical star trails appeared wherever Brownie walked.

"You're making stars!" Lily cried with delight.

That night, Lily learned something wonderful: friendship comes in all shapes and sizes, and magic exists wherever you find it. As she drifted off to sleep, she dreamed of orange cats, gentle bulls, and the stars they painted together.
