The Cat Who Guarded the Stars

Lily loved looking at the stars through her bedroom window. One night, she saw something extraordinary—a glowing **pyramid** made of pure light floating in the sky!

"Did you see that too?" whispered a soft voice. Lily jumped and turned around. Perched on her windowsill was the most beautiful **cat** she had ever seen, with fur like midnight blue and eyes that sparkled like actual stars.

"I'm Orion," the cat said. "And I need your help."

Lily's eyes went wide. "You can talk?"

"Magic cats can do many things," Orion purred. "Come with me."

Orion leaped onto Lily's desk and touched her old **iPhone** with one paw. Suddenly, the phone began to glow, showing a map of starlight.

"The Great Bull constellation has lost his way," Orion explained. "He's supposed to guard the entrance to the Pyramid of Dreams, but he's trapped in our world. We need to guide him home before sunrise, or children everywhere will stop having beautiful dreams."

Lily felt brave. "How do we find him?"

Orion pointed to a shimmering **cable** of light that appeared outside her window, stretching from the ground all the way to the glowing pyramid in the sky.

"We climb the Star Cable!" Orion said. "But only someone with a pure heart can travel it. Are you ready?"

Lily nodded, her heart pounding with excitement. She took Orion's paw, and together they stepped onto the cable. It felt solid and warm, like walking on a moonbeam.

As they climbed higher, Lily saw the magnificent **bull** below them—a giant creature made of golden stars, looking confused and lonely in a park.

"Mr. Bull!" Lily called down. "Follow us! We know the way home!"

The Star Bull looked up and nodded gratefully. He began to climb the cable behind them.

When they reached the glowing pyramid, Orion touched its surface with her nose. The pyramid opened like a flower, revealing swirling galaxies inside.

"Thank you, Lily," the Star Bull said in a voice like rumbling thunder. "You've helped me find my way back."

The bull entered the pyramid, and suddenly the night sky filled with more stars than Lily had ever seen.

Orion nudged Lily's hand. "Time to go back, dream guardian. But remember—whenever you see a star winking at you, that's me saying thank you."

Lily woke up in her bed the next morning, her cat curled beside her. Had it all been a dream? Then she noticed something on her windowsill—a single star, glowing softly, that no one else could see.

From that night on, Lily knew that magic was real, and that even the smallest person could help the biggest friends find their way home.
