The Cat Who Found the Sky-Cable

Luna was a small grey cat with bright yellow eyes and a very curious tail. She lived with a girl named Mia in a cozy house at the edge of town. Every night, Luna would sit by the window and watch the stars twinkle.

One evening, something magical appeared outside Mia's window. It was a shimmering silver cable that stretched all the way from the windowsill up into the clouds! The cable glowed softly, like moonlight made into string.

Luna's tail twitched with excitement. She crept out the window and placed one careful paw on the cable. It hummed beneath her, warm and friendly. Slowly, bravely, she climbed up and up until she reached something amazing floating among the clouds—a crystal pyramid that sparkled in every color of the rainbow!

Inside the pyramid sat tiny glowing jars. Luna nudged one open with her nose and out poured sweet-smelling sparkles. These were star-vitamins, magic gifts from the sky! One sparkle made you faster. Another made you kinder. The most special one gave you beautiful dreams.

But Luna didn't keep them all for herself. She remembered her friends: Barnaby the sleepy dog, Pip the nervous squirrel, and all the birds who couldn't fly very fast. So she gathered the sparkling jars in a little basket and climbed carefully back down the silver cable.

That night, Luna shared the magic star-vitamins with everyone. Pip became brave enough to climb the tallest trees. Barnaby could run faster than ever. And the birds sang the most beautiful songs the town had ever heard.

Mia woke up to find her window full of grateful animals, all watching Luna sleep soundly, her yellow eyes closed and a tiny sparkle still on her whiskers.

"My cat," Mia whispered, smiling, "is the most magical friend in the world."

And Luna, curled up in her warm bed, dreamed of her next adventure up the silver cable to the crystal pyramid in the sky—because the best magic, she knew, was the kind you shared with friends.
