The Cat Who Found a Magic Pyramid
Mittens was a small orange cat who lived in a cozy house at the edge of town. Every day, she watched children play in the park across the street, wishing she had a friend of her own.
One sunny afternoon, Mittens discovered something strange in her garden. Beneath the rosebush sat a tiny golden pyramid, no bigger than her paw. It glimmered in the sunlight, making soft twinkling sounds like wind chimes.
"Hello?" Mittens meowed, nudging it with her nose.
Suddenly, the pyramid popped open like a little box, and out popped a tiny creature made of golden light. It was shaped like a mini pyramid with sparkly wings!
"Thank you for waking me!" the little creature squeaked. "I've been asleep for a hundred years!"
Mittens' eyes went wide. "You can talk?"
"I'm a Pyramid Pixie," the creature explained, zipping around Mittens' head. "My name is Pip. And you're the first friend I've made in a very long time."
From that day on, Mittens was never lonely. Pip showed her magical wonders invisible to humans—rainbow bridges made of morning dew, secret tunnels between garden fences, and clouds that tasted like vanilla ice cream.
One evening, Pip noticed Mittens looking sad.
"What's wrong, friend?" asked Pip.
"The other cats don't want to play with me," Mittens sighed. "They say I'm too little."
Pip's tiny pyramid body glowed brighter. "Being little doesn't mean you can't do big things! Watch this!"
Pip flew into the kitchen and returned carrying an orange slice. With a sprinkle of golden dust, the orange slice transformed into a miniature orange pyramid that floated in the air.
"Wow!" gasped Mittens.
"I made this for you," Pip said proudly. "Whenever you feel small, remember: even the tiniest pyramid has a point, and even the smallest friend can bring the biggest magic."
Mittens purred happily, realizing that true friendship isn't about size—it's about the magic you share together.
