Lily loved spending time with her grandmother's cat, Mittens. But she didn't know that Mittens had a secret job.

One rainy afternoon, Lily sat at the kitchen table, poking at her lunch.

"I hate spinach," she grumbled, pushing the green leaves around her plate.

Mittens couldn't carry it, so she did something amazing. She tapped the screen with her paw. The phone lit up with a sound like fairy bells. She tapped it again and again, playing a little melody that echoed through the house.

Lily heard the magical music and followed it down to the basement. She found Mittens sitting proudly beside the lost phone!

"Mittens, you're the best spy ever!" Lily hugged her cat tight.

That night, Lily wrote in her diary: "Today I learned that magic is real, and it lives in the most unexpected places. Even a cat who loves spinach can be a hero."
