The Cat Who Collected Moonlight

Barnaby was a small orange cat with the softest fur in the entire village. Every night, while everyone slept, he did something very special. He collected moonlight in his shiny golden pyramid.

The pyramid had been a gift from his grandmother, who told him, "This pyramid catches magic. Use it wisely, little one."

One starry evening, Barnaby trotted to the meadow with his pyramid. Suddenly, he heard a deep, sad moo. There, behind an old oak tree, stood the biggest bull Barnaby had ever seen. But this bull looked different—his horns shimmered like rainbows, and his eyes were the color of summer skies.

"What's wrong, Mr. Bull?" Barnaby asked kindly.

The bull sniffled. "I've lost my courage. Without it, I cannot protect the Dream Forest from the Shadow Goblins."

Barnaby's ears perked up. "Maybe I can help! My pyramid catches special magic."

The bull's eyes widened. "Your pyramid! It's exactly what we need. Fill it with moonlight, then add the secret ingredient—the勇气 vitamin from the Purple Mountain!"

Barnaby had never heard of a courage vitamin, but his heart felt brave. "Let's go together!"

Together, the unlikely pair climbed the Purple Mountain. The path was steep and rocky. At the top, they found a glowing cave filled with sparkling crystals. In the center grew a single golden flower.

"The courage vitamin!" the bull cheered.

Barnaby carefully placed the flower into his pyramid. The moonlight inside swirled and turned into brilliant golden dust.

When they returned to the Dream Forest, Shadow Goblins were creeping toward the sleeping animals. Barnaby shook his pyramid, and golden dust floated over the goblins. Instead of fighting, the dust made them sleepy and peaceful. They curled up and started snoring.

The bull nudged Barnaby gently. "You did it, little friend. You were braver than any bull."

Barnaby purred. "We did it together. That's what friends do."

From that night on, Barnaby the cat and Benny the bull became the best of friends. Every full moon, they filled the golden pyramid together, collecting magic not just for themselves, but to help anyone who needed courage. And Barnaby learned that even the smallest creatures can make the biggest difference—especially when they have friends by their side.
