The Cat Who Chased Stars

Luna was no ordinary cat. Every night, she wore her tiny red hat and dreamed of catching something bigger than mice—something magical.

One summer evening, while young Tim played baseball in the twilight, a remarkable thing happened. Tim hit the ball so hard it soared into the sky and didn't come down. Luna, curious as ever, followed it into the woods.

The baseball had landed beside something impossible: a glowing pyramid made of moonlight, hidden between ancient trees. Luna's yellow eyes widened as the pyramid's crystal door opened.

Inside, she met Orion—a magnificent bull with silver fur and horns that twinkled like constellations. But Orion wasn't scary at all. His eyes were kind, full of ancient wisdom.

"I fell from the stars," Orion whispered sadly. "Without my constellation family, I'm lonely."

Luna's heart swelled. She nudged the magical baseball toward him with her nose, then did something silly—she placed her red hat on Orion's giant head.

The pyramid began to sparkle. The baseball, charged with stardust, shot upward carrying Orion with it!

Luna watched as her new friend became part of the night sky, forming the bright constellation she'd admired all her life. Orion looked down and winked.

Now every night, Luna sits on the windowsill wearing her lucky hat, watching the bull who guards the stars. She learned that the smallest kindness—even from a tiny cat—can help even the biggest dreams come true.

And that baseball? It became a shooting star that visits whenever Luna misses her friend.
