The Cat Who Called the Stars
Luna was no ordinary cat. With fur like midnight and eyes like golden moons, she belonged to a little girl named Sophie. Every night, Luna would sit by the window, watching the stars dance.
One evening, Sophie dropped her iPhone on the soft carpet. Luna's paw touched the glowing screen, and suddenly — whoosh! — the iPhone lit up with stardust. Tiny stars swirled around Luna, lifting her into the air.
"Where are we going?" Luna meowed, though she knew cats couldn't really talk. But in magic, anything was possible.
The iPhone had become a portal to the night sky! Luna floated higher and higher until she landed on a cloud. There, she met something wonderful — a great bull made of starlight, with horns that curved like crescent moons and a coat that sparkled like diamonds.
"I'm Orion," said the Bull softly. "I guard the dreams of all children. But I'm so lonely up here."
Luna purred and rubbed her starry fur against Orion's leg. "I'll be your friend!"
"But you must return home," Orion said. "Your Sophie needs you. And look —" he pointed with his glowing nose. "The sun is coming!"
Luna knew he was right. She touched her nose to his. "I'll visit every night. I promise."
Orion smiled and gave her a gift — a small star that fit in her collar like a tiny lantern. "Now you'll always find your way back to me."
Luna touched the iPhone screen again, and — whoosh! — she was back in Sophie's room, just as the first morning light peeked through the window.
Sophie woke up and hugged Luna tight. "Did you have an adventure, little kitty?"
Luna purred, her collar star twinkling. Some magic was too wonderful to explain in words.
That night, Luna sat by the window again. High above, the Great Bull Orion winked at her, and Luna knew that friendship — whether on Earth or among the stars — was the greatest magic of all.
