The Cat's Magical Pool

Lily sat beneath the giant palm tree in her grandmother's backyard, watching her orange tabby cat Miko chase invisible butterflies through the swaying fronds. The summer sun warmed her shoulders as she tossed her baseball up and down, waiting for her friends to come over for a game.
