The Cat's Digital Magic

Mittens was no ordinary cat. She had emerald eyes that sparkled with curiosity and whiskers that twitched whenever adventure was near.

One rainy afternoon, Mittens discovered something strange beside a puddle. It was a silver rectangle with a glowing screen—an iPhone that someone had dropped! Beside it lay a tangled cable that shimmered like a rainbow snake.

As Mittens tapped the screen with her paw, the phone buzzed to life. Suddenly, tiny blue creatures began dancing across the glass! They were the Water Sprites, magical beings who lived inside every phone and tablet.

"Help us!" cried the smallest sprite. "Our home is flooding!"

Mittens watched as the water from the puddle began seeping toward the phone. Without thinking, she nudged the cable into a nearby outlet. ZAP! The phone sprang to life, glowing like a tiny moon.

The Water Sprites cheered! But they needed more power. Mittens looked around and spotted a bright orange fallen from a passing grocery bag. The fruit glowed with magical energy.

"The orange!" the sprites sang. "It holds the magic of sunshine!"

Mittens batted the orange toward the phone. The moment it touched the screen, golden light burst forth! The water reversed itself, flowing backward into the puddle. The sprites danced with joy, creating beautiful patterns of light that filled the air.

From that day on, Mittens became the guardian of all digital sprites. She learned that magic exists everywhere—even in phones and cables—if you have the courage to look for it.

And every time she sees an orange, she remembers the day she discovered that the smallest creatures need the biggest hearts to save them.
