The Cable Car to Cloud Castle

Lily and Max loved exploring. One rainy afternoon, they found an old cable car hidden behind their attic wall. The cable shimmered with golden light, stretching up into the clouds.

"I wonder where it goes?" Lily whispered.

"Only one way to find out!" Max grinned.

They climbed inside. The cable car hummed to life and carried them upward through misty clouds until a magnificent pyramid appeared—a castle shaped like a giant pyramid floating in the sky!

"Welcome!" purred a sleek black cat with glowing yellow eyes. "I'm Bolt, the lightning keeper."

Bolt's fur crackled with tiny sparks. He explained that the Sky Pyramid was where magic came from, and something terrible had happened. The Grumpy Zombie had stolen the Heart Spark, making everyone in the castle forget how to smile.

"He wasn't always grumpy," Bolt said sadly. "He lost his own joy long ago."

Lily and Max followed Bolt through crystal corridors until they found the Zombie sitting alone in a dark tower, clutching a glowing ruby heart. He looked sad, not scary.

"Nobody wants to be my friend," the Zombie mumbled. "So I took the Heart Spark to keep it safe."

Max sat beside him. "You don't have to steal friends. You just have to be one."

Lily smiled and held out her hand. "Will you come play with us?"

The Zombie's green face brightened. He returned the Heart Spark, and lightning flashed across Bolt's fur in celebration. The whole pyramid began to shine with rainbows.

"Thank you," the Zombie said, his first real smile lighting up his face like sunshine.

From that day on, the Zombie—whose real name was Zane—became the Sky Pyramid's best friend. And whenever Lily and Max needed an adventure, they just had to find that magical cable waiting for them.
