The Bull Who Swam with Stars
Lily lived beside a pond where the stars reflected like scattered diamonds. Every night, she watched old Barnaby the bull stand at the water's edge, his golden coat gleaming in moonlight. But tonight was different—Barnaby stepped into the water and began **swimming**!
"Barnaby?" Lily whispered, wading in after him. The bull turned, his eyes twinkling kindly. "Come along, little one. The moon-vitamin awaits."
"Moon-vitamin?" Lily gasped as Barnaby's strong legs paddled gracefully through the silver water. A glowing **cable** of moonlight stretched across the pond, leading to an island she'd never noticed before.
"The stars make it each night," Barnaby explained. "It's how we reach the Magic Palm."
They followed the shimmering cable to a tiny island where one magnificent **palm** tree grew, its leaves shimmering with starlight. But the tree looked droopy and sad.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked, pressing her palm against the trunk.
"It needs laughter and friendship to bloom," said Barnaby. "That's its vitamin—not from a bottle, but from hearts."
Lily giggled as Barnaby did a silly dance, splashing water. The palm tree's leaves perked up. Then they told jokes, shared stories, and sang songs together. With each laugh, the tree grew brighter and stronger.
Suddenly, golden coconuts rained down, each filled with something different—joy, courage, dreams, and wonder.
"These are the real vitamins," Barnaby said, nuzzling Lily's cheek. "Friendship feeds the soul."
Lily hugged the bull's warm neck. "Can we come back tomorrow?"
"Every night," Barnaby promised. "The magic grows when shared."
As they swam home under the starry sky, Lily understood—the greatest adventures aren't just about discovering magic, but about sharing it with friends.
