The Bull Who Swam Through Stars
Young Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and head to the dusty diamond behind his house. But nobody wanted to play with the quiet boy who always brought spinach sandwiches for lunch.
One magical evening, as Leo practiced his pitching under the first stars, a enormous shadow emerged from the woods. A magnificent bull with constellation patterns glowing on his coat stepped onto the field.
"May I join your game?" the bull asked softly.
Leo's eyes widened. "You can play baseball?"
The bull smiled. "I've been playing since the pyramids were young."
Together they played the most wonderful game ever. When Leo threw his fastest pitch, the bull hit it so hard that the ball soared into the sky and became a shooting star. They laughed and played until the moon rose high above.
"Come with me," said the bull. "There's something I want to show you."
The bull led Leo to a secret clearing where an ancient crystal pyramid stood. Inside, Leo discovered not walls or treasure, but something impossible—a shimmering pool of starlight.
"This is where I learned to swim through the stars," the bull explained. "Would you like to try?"
Leo hesitated, then remembered how lonely he'd felt before tonight. He trusted his new friend. Together they dove into the starlight, swimming among constellations and dancing with comets.
From that night on, Leo learned that the best friends come in unexpected packages. And whenever he felt lonely, he'd eat his spinach sandwiches with extra pride, knowing somewhere beneath the stars, his friend the bull was waiting for their next magical game.
