The Bull Who Swam at Midnight

Leo loved to spy on things. He was the best spy in his whole school, which just meant he was very curious and liked to discover secrets.

Behind the old park, there was a mysterious padel court. No one ever used it. The blue fence was rusty, and the gate was always locked. But every evening, Leo would spy on it through the trees. The strangest thing happened at sunset—the court would shimmer and sparkle like magic!

One Friday, Leo discovered something amazing. The gate was open just a tiny bit!

Being a good spy meant being brave. Leo peeked inside.

The padel court was full of water! It sparkled under the moonlight. And something wonderful was swimming there.

A bull!

A real, live bull was swimming graceful laps around the padel court! His big brown body moved through the water like a dancer. Leo had never seen a bull swim before.

The bull noticed Leo and smiled. "Hello there! I'm Fernando. Come join me!"

Leo couldn't believe his eyes. A talking bull who loved swimming!

"But I don't have my swimsuit," Leo said.

Fernando laughed, and water droplets sparkled around him like tiny stars. "In this magical court, you can swim in anything! The water protects you."

Leo stepped onto the court and—SPLASH! The most wonderful thing happened. He could swim and breathe underwater! He could even talk!

Fernando taught Leo how to play underwater padel. Crabs held the rackets with their claws. Fish were the balls, zooming through the water. Even a shy octopus joined their game!

They played and laughed until morning. When the sun came up, Fernando had a surprise for Leo.

"Take this," the bull said, giving Leo a magical blue racket. "Come back anytime. This court is for special friends who like to spy on secrets."

Leo ran home, his heart full of wonder. He had discovered the most amazing secret—a bull who swam, a court that became a pool, and new friends who lived for midnight adventures.

From that day on, Leo learned that the best discoveries come when you're curious, kind, and brave enough to say hello to something wonderful.
