The Bull Who Saved Zombie Z

In the middle of the Sunny Meadow Farm lived a bull named Barnaby. Barnaby wasn't like other bulls. Instead of charging and snorting, he loved to nap in buttercups and make friends with everyone he met.

One rainy afternoon, something strange tumbled out of the old oak tree. It was a zombie—or at least, that's what everyone called him. His name was Z, and he was the clumsiest, most confused creature anyone had ever seen. Z's green skin sparkled like emeralds, and instead of wanting brains, he only wanted to find his way home to the Magic Garden.

"Everyone's running away from me!" Z sniffled, sitting on a mushroom. "I must be really scary."

Barnaby trotted over. "You're not scary. You're just lost!"

Z's eyes lit up. "You're not scared?"

"Nope," said Barnaby. "But I heard the Farmer is coming with his scary hose. We need to start running!"

Grabbing Z's hand, Barnaby charged toward the forest. But Z tripped over his own floppy feet and tumbled into a patch of rainbow flowers. Suddenly, Z began to glow! The magic of the flowers transformed him—no longer a clumsy zombie, but a beautiful guardian of the garden, with sparkly wings and a crown of sunflowers.

"I remember now!" Z gasped. "I'm not a zombie. I'm a Garden Spirit! The flower magic was sleeping inside me all along!"

But just then, the Farmer appeared with his hose. Without thinking, Barnaby positioned himself between the Farmer and his new friend.

"Leave him alone!" Barnaby shouted, surprising himself with his own bravery.

The Farmer smiled. "I was just going to water the flowers, not chase anyone." He laughed at the misunderstanding.

That day, Barnaby and Z (who was really Zephyr the Garden Spirit) learned something wonderful: Sometimes, what we think is scary is just something we don't understand yet. And real friends see who you truly are, not what others say you are.

From that day on, Sunny Meadow Farm became the most magical place in the whole wide world, where bulls napped with Garden Spirits, and everyone ran toward friendship instead of away from fear.
