The Bull Who Saved the Stars

Timmy lived where the desert met the sea, a place of endless magic. One afternoon, while chasing a blue butterfly, he spotted something glinting near the old stone pyramid—the one everyone said was just a pile of rocks.

Curious, Timmy crept closer. There, half-buried in sand, lay a golden cable. It pulsed with warmth, like sunshine trapped in metal. When he tugged gently, the ground rumbled, and a hidden door slid open beneath the pyramid!

Inside, Timmy gasped. A crystal pool filled the center, its water swirling with galaxies of tiny stars. And beside it stood the most magnificent creature he'd ever seen—a bull made of moonlight and constellations, his horns curved like crescent moons.

"Welcome, small one," the Star Bull spoke, his voice like distant thunder. "I've waited centuries for someone brave enough to find me."

Timmy's knees trembled, but he stood tall. "Who are you?"

"I am Orion, guardian of the Star Pool. These waters heal the night sky when stars fall dark. But my magic grows weak. I need a helper with a pure heart."

The bull dipped his nose into the shimmering water. "Each night, I must carry starlight up to the heavens. But alone, I cannot lift enough. Will you help me?"

Timmy nodded, eyes wide with wonder. "What do I do?"

"Hold this cable," Orion said, nudging the golden cord toward him. "It connects all the magic in the world. When I lift the water, you must sing the stars awake."

That night, Timmy and the Star Bull climbed the highest dune. Orion filled a great bucket with starry water, while Timmy gripped the cable and sang every song his grandmother had taught him. With each note, the water glowed brighter, rising like liquid diamonds into the sky.

Morning came too soon. Orion's form began to fade.

"Will I see you again?" Timmy called.

The bull's eyes sparkled. "Look up when the night is darkest. I'll be there, carrying the stars you helped me place. And remember—" His voice grew distant, "the truest magic isn't in wishes or spells. It's in courage, kindness, and believing in wonder."

Timmy returned to the pyramid often, though the door never opened again. But on starry nights, he could hear the soft thunder of golden hooves, and somewhere above, a constellation of a brave boy and his bull friend watched over the world.
