The Bull Who Reached the Stars
Barnaby was no ordinary bull. While the other cows on Sunny Meadow Farm chewed grass and took naps, Barnaby spent his days watching the children play baseball in the field next door. He'd rest his big spotted chin on the wooden fence and dream of soaring through the air like the baseballs the kids hit.
One day, something magical happened. A glowing purple flower bloomed near the old oak tree—a flower that Grandpa Cow said only appeared once every hundred years. It was a legendary vitamin flower, and whoever ate its petals would receive one special wish.
Barnaby approached the flower with his heart pounding. "I wish I could play baseball with the children," he whispered, and nibbled the shimmering purple petals.
Suddenly, Barnaby felt light as a dandelion seed! His hooves lifted off the ground, and he began to float gently upward. The children gasped as the friendly bull drifted toward their baseball field like a happy, spotted balloon.
"Look! It's Barnaby!" shouted little Maya, dropping her bat. "He's flying!"
Barnaby landed softly beside them, smiling his big bull smile. The vitamin flower had granted him the power of gentle flight. The children weren't scared—they were amazed!
"Can you catch balls?" asked Tim, the team's captain.
Barnaby nodded enthusiastically. When Tim hit the next pitch, it sailed higher than ever before. But Barnaby leaped gracefully into the sky, caught the ball in his mouth, and floated back down to the cheering children.
From that day on, Barnaby became the Sunny Meadow Flyers' most special player. He learned that being different wasn't a bad thing—it was what made him extraordinary. And every evening, as the children waved goodbye and headed home, Barnaby would do one last joyful loop around the meadow, grateful for the magical vitamin that helped his dreams take flight.
The other cows never understood why Barnaby was so happy. But Barnaby knew the secret: true magic isn't about changing who you are—it's about finding friends who love you because you're you.
