The Bull Who Ran With Dreams
Barnaby was no ordinary bull. While other bulls on Green Meadow Farm stood still all day chewing grass, Barnaby loved **running**. Every morning at sunrise, he would gallop across the hills, his golden coat gleaming like morning sunshine.
But Barnaby had a secret. Every evening, he would visit the old stone pond behind the barn. There, swimming gracefully among the lily pads, was his best friend—a tiny orange **goldfish** named Finnigan.
"You're the fastest bull in the world!" Finnigan would say, popping his head above water. "Someday you'll run all the way to the ocean!"
Barnaby dreamed of that day. He wanted to see the place where the water never ended.
One afternoon, something magical happened. Barnaby was running past the garden when something sparkly caught his eye. A tiny bottle had fallen from the sky! Inside were colorful pills that glowed like little rainbows.
"What are these?" wondered Barnaby.
The little garden fairy, who was no bigger than a buttercup, flew over on shimmering wings. "Those are **vitamin** stars!" she explained. "Each one gives a special gift. The blue one makes you light as a feather. The pink one makes you strong as ten elephants. The yellow one... well, that's the mystery vitamin!"
Barnaby's eyes grew wide. "Could one help me run faster?"
"Maybe!" The fairy winked. "But remember—the magic only works when your heart is full of kindness."
That night, Barnaby told Finnigan about the vitamins. The clever little goldfish had an idea. "Take the yellow mystery vitamin together with your wish! Then we'll see what happens!"
Barnaby took the yellow pill and closed his eyes. "I wish Finnigan could see the ocean too."
Suddenly, Barnaby felt lighter than air! When he opened his eyes, Finnigan was floating beside him in a magical bubble of water!
Together they ran—Barnaby galloping across fields, and Finnigan floating beside him like a golden lantern. They ran past forests, over hills, and under the starlight until they heard something wonderful.
"The ocean!" cried Finnigan.
The waves crashed against the shore, singing a welcome song. Barnaby gently placed Finnigan's bubble into the sea, and his little friend swam off to explore a whole new world.
"I'll visit every summer!" Barnaby promised. And he did, running all the way back, faster than ever, because friendship gave him wings.
And sometimes, if you look closely at the stars, you can still see them running together—a bull and his fish, teaching everyone that true friends always find a way to share their dreams.
