The Bull Who Pitched Starlight

Barnaby was no ordinary bull. He had curly, rainbow-colored hair that shimmered like silk, and he dreamed of playing baseball. Every afternoon, he peeked through the fence at the children playing in the meadow, watching them toss the white ball back and forth.

"Go away, you clumsy oaf!" the mean farmer would shout. "Bulls can't play baseball!"

But Barnaby had a secret. His magical hair could spin like a tornado.

One starry evening, a little girl named Lily spotted him crying by the fence. She had messy pigtails and carried her favorite baseball glove. "Why are you sad?" she asked gently.

"Nobody wants a bull on their team," Barnaby sniffled.

Lily's eyes widened with wonder. "Your hair is amazing! Want to play catch?"

She tossed her baseball. Barnaby closed his eyes and concentrated. His rainbow hair began to spin—WHOOSH! It caught the ball mid-air and tossed it back perfectly.

Lily gasped. "That's the most magical thing ever! You're the best pitcher ever!"

Every night after that, Lily and Barnaby played under the moonlight. His hair could curve the ball around trees, make it dance like fireflies, and even paint pictures in the sky. The other children soon joined, amazed by their new friend's special gift.

The mean farmer could only stare in disbelief as Barnaby's rainbow hair spun a baseball into a perfect arc of joy.

"Sometimes," Lily whispered to Barnaby, "the things that make us different are exactly what make us wonderful."

And from that night on, the bull with magical hair became the most beloved baseball player in all the meadow, teaching everyone that true magic comes from being yourself and letting your unique light shine.
