The Bull Who Loved the Deep

Lily was swimming in the old pond behind her house when something incredible happened. She ducked under the green water and saw a shimmering light below. When she popped up for air, a giant bubble floated to the surface—and inside was a bull!

"Hello!" said the bull, whose name was Barnaby. "I'm the only bull in the world who loves swimming. Want to see my magical garden?" Lily's eyes grew wide as Barnaby led her down a hidden staircase into an underwater cave.

The cave was filled with glowing spinach that sparkled like emeralds. "This is magic spinach," Barnaby explained. "One leaf gives you the power to breathe underwater forever. But I never eat it alone. It's meant to be shared with a friend."

Lily's heart squeezed with happiness. She had just moved to this town and didn't know anyone. Now she had found a magical bull who wanted to share his treasure with her!

Together, they swam through coral caves and played hide-and-seek with silver fish. Barnaby showed her how to dance with the waves and sing with the whales. They ate the magic spinach together, and suddenly Lily could breathe underwater too.

From that day on, Lily visited Barnaby every day after school. They had the most wonderful adventures, exploring sunken ships and discovering glowing seashells. The other kids at school thought Lily was making up stories, but she knew the truth: sometimes the best friends are the ones you least expect.

Lily learned that being different makes you special, just like Barnaby the swimming bull. And she learned that true friendship is the greatest magic of all.
