The Bull Who Loved Stars
Barnaby was no ordinary bull. While other cows on Apple Blossom Farm chewed grass and slept in the sun, Barnaby spent his nights gazing at the stars, dreaming of adventures among the twinkling lights.
One magical evening, Barnaby discovered an old, thick cable stretching from the farmhouse attic all the way to the meadow. It glowed with soft silver light, humming an ancient song. Curious, Barnaby nudged it with his nose, and suddenly—WOOSH! He felt lighter than air, floating gently upward along the cable like a balloon.
Higher and higher he climbed, past curious owls and surprised clouds, until he reached the Moon itself. There, in a crater made of green cheese, grew the most magnificent garden of sparkling spinach. Each leaf shimmered like a tiny emerald star.
"You must be the one," whispered the Moon Gardener, a rabbit with fur as white as stardust. "This spinach grants one wish to those kind enough to visit us."
Barnaby thought carefully. He didn't wish for wings or treasure. Instead, he wished that every creature on Earth could see the stars as beautifully as he did.
The Gardener smiled and gave Barnaby a single spinach leaf. "Eat this, and your wish will come true. But remember—the magic only works when shared with friends."
Barnaby slid back down the glowing cable, heart full of excitement. That night, he gathered all the farm animals—chickens, pigs, horses, even the grumpy old rooster—and together they shared the magical spinach. Suddenly, the sky opened like a storybook, and stars danced before their eyes in brilliant colors.
From that night on, Barnaby and his friends would climb the silver cable together, visiting the Moon garden and returning with stories that made the whole farm sparkle with wonder. And whenever someone feels lonely, they need only look up at the stars to remember: magic shines brightest when shared with friends.
