The Bull Who Loved Spinach

One rainy afternoon, Lily discovered something magical on her mom's iPhone. While playing with a glowing app she'd never seen before, a sparkly cable appeared on the screen. When she touched it, the cable wriggled right out of the phone!

"Whoa!" Lily gasped as the golden cable stretched across her room, connecting to her favorite toy bull named Bullwinkle.

Suddenly, Bullwinkle stood up! He shook his stuffed horns and trotted over to Lily.

"Hello, friend!" Bullwinkle said in a friendly voice. "I've been waiting to come alive forever!"

Lily's heart raced with excitement. Together they followed the magical cable out her window and into an Enchanted Garden, where flowers sang and trees whispered secrets.

In a sunny corner, they found a gentle zombie named Zeke. He wasn't scary at all—he just looked lonely and hungry. His greenish skin made him seem tired, and his tummy rumbled loudly.

"I haven't found anything good to eat in forever," Zeke sighed sadly. "Everything tastes like old socks."

Lily's eyes lit up. "I know what you need! Spinach!" She'd just learned at school that spinach gave Popeye his strength.

The magical garden grew the most beautiful spinach—leaves emerald and shimmering with fairy dust. Lily gathered handfuls and offered them to Zeke.

Zeke took a tiny bite. His eyes widened! "It's amazing!" He ate more and more, and something wonderful happened. His skin turned rosy and healthy, his smile became bright, and he started dancing with joy.

Bullwinkle munched some spinach too, and together the three new friends had the most magical picnic ever. They laughed, played tag, and Zeke taught them how to do the zombie shuffle dance.

As the sun began to set, Bullwinkle transformed back into a toy. Lily carried him home, tucking both Bullwinkle and her mom's iPhone under her pillow.

"Best friends forever," she whispered, dreaming of their next adventure.

Lily learned that day that friends come in all shapes and sizes—even zombies, bulls, and brave little girls—and that sometimes, the most magical things happen when you least expect them.
