The Bull Who Loved Papayas
Mira loved running through the meadow behind her house. Her wild curly hair bounced like sunshine with every step. Today was extra special because her hair had turned bright pink, just like the sunset.
She ran past the old stone wall and discovered a path she'd never seen before. It wound through tall grass until she reached a hidden valley where a magnificent bull stood guard.
But this wasn't an ordinary bull. His coat shimmered like polished copper, and instead of horns, he had two curved branches laden with ripe orange papayas.
"Hello," Mira whispered, not afraid at all.
The bull blinked his gentle brown eyes and nudged one perfect papaya toward her. It glowed with soft golden light.
"For me?" Mira gasped.
The bull nodded. His voice rumbled like warm thunder. "Plant the seeds wherever you go."
Mira took a bite—juicy and sweet, tasting like sunshine and magic. She tucked the seeds safely into her pocket.
"Will you be my friend?" she asked the bull.
"Always," he replied. "My valley is your valley now."
Every day after that, Mira came running back, her hair changing colors with her joy. She planted papaya seeds throughout her village, and soon everyone grew magical fruit that made them smile.
The bull became the guardian of them all, his copper coat gleaming in the sun, his papaya horns heavy with fruit, and his heart full of friendship.
And that's how Mira learned that the best magic isn't found in spells or potions—it's found in kindness, friendship, and the simple joy of sharing something sweet with someone new.
