The Bull Who Loved Lightning

Leo loved storms more than anything. While other children hid under blankets when thunder rumbled, Leo pressed his face against the window, eyes wide with wonder.

One rainy afternoon, Leo ran to his backyard pool. Rain transformed the water into a dancing mirror, reflecting the dark sky above. Suddenly, a brilliant flash of lightning split the clouds!

But this lightning didn't just fade away. It sparkled and shimmered, forming the shape of a young bull made entirely of golden light. The bull tumbled from the sky and SPLASHED into the pool!

Leo gasped as the bull surfaced, shaking glowing droplets from his horns. "I'm Taurus," the bull said, his voice like distant thunder. "I fell during the storm games above the clouds."

"But you're a constellation!" Leo cried, delighted.

Taurus nodded sadly. "I'm the youngest bull in the sky herd, and I'm afraid of lightning. The other bulls practice charging through storms, but I always hide."

Leo's heart went out to him. "Everyone gets scared sometimes. Even me!"

"But how will I ever become a real constellation if I can't be brave?" Taurus worried.

Suddenly, more lightning flashed across the sky. Taurus trembled, his golden glow flickering.

"Wait!" Leo had an idea. "What if you practice together with a friend? I'll stand right here with you."

Taurus brightened. "Together?"

"Together," Leo promised.

As the storm continued, Leo and Taurus faced each lightning flash side by side. With Leo's encouragement, Taurus learned that lightning wasn't scary at all—it was beautiful, like nature's fireworks.

When the storm passed, Taurus glowed brighter than ever. "Thank you, Leo! I'm not afraid anymore!"

The constellation bull leaped into the sky, joining his herd among the stars. From that night on, whenever Leo saw lightning, he knew his friend was dancing through the storms, brave and shining bright.

And if you look carefully at the sky during a storm, you might still see him—the bull who learned that courage doesn't mean not being scared. It means facing your fears with a friend by your side.
