The Bull Who Loved Baseball
Barnaby was a bull with a big secret. While all the other bulls on Farmer Green's meadow practiced charging and snorting, Barnaby practiced his swing. He loved baseball more than anything!
Every afternoon, a little boy named Tim would play catch near the fence. Barnaby would watch, his eyes wide, wishing he could join in. But bulls don't play baseball—or so everyone thought.
One magical Saturday, Barnaby discovered something amazing. Behind the old oak tree, there was an orange cable that seemed to glow in the sunlight. It stretched across the meadow like a shimmering rainbow bridge, disappearing into the clouds.
Curious, Barnaby followed the orange cable with his nose. It led him past the farmhouse, through the wildflowers, and right to Tim's backyard. The cable connected to a small box with blinking lights.
Suddenly, the most wonderful thing happened. When Barnaby's hoof touched the orange cable, he found himself transported to a magical baseball diamond floating in the sky! The bases were made of fluffy clouds, and the players were gentle breezes that high-fived him as he passed.
Tim appeared too, smiling brightly. "You're the first bull ever to join our Cloud League!" he cheered. "You must be special!"
Barnaby's heart soared. He stepped up to the plate, gripped the bat between his hooves, and—CRACK!—sent the baseball flying so high it tickled the moon's chin. The cloud-players cheered, and Tim clapped with delight.
From that day on, whenever Barnaby felt different or lonely, he just found the orange cable and soared to his magical baseball paradise. He learned that being yourself is the bravest thing you can do, and that friends come in all shapes and sizes—even bulls who love baseball!
And somewhere up in the clouds, if you listen closely on a sunny afternoon, you might still hear the crack of a bat and the cheerful snort of a very happy bull playing his favorite game.
