The Bull Who Lit the Stars

Lily loved climbing the old oak tree in her backyard, especially on nights when the moon shone bright. One summer evening, she spotted something shimmering near the mountain peak—a glow like fireflies but bigger, brighter.

She grabbed her backpack and followed the sparkles up the rocky path. Higher and higher she climbed until she reached a hidden meadow filled with silver flowers. There, sleeping peacefully, was the most magnificent creature she had ever seen.

It was a bull, but not like any farm bull she'd seen in books. This bull's fur gleamed like polished copper, and从他身上 flowed the most beautiful, flowing hair she could imagine—strands of golden light that rippled like water in a stream.

"Hello there," Lily whispered.

The bull opened gentle brown eyes. "Hello, small friend. I'm Barnaby, and I'm in a bit of a pickle."

His magnificent hair drooped sadly, tangled around him like old yarn. Lily noticed something strange—thin silver cables ran through his golden locks, but they'd grown dim and dusty.

"What happened?" she asked.

Barnaby sighed. "My magic cables connect the stars in the sky. They keep the night bright for dreamers everywhere. But I've run out of star vitamins—the special moonbeam crystals that give my hair its power."

Lily's eyes widened. "I can help! Where do we find these vitamins?"

"They sparkle in the Stream of Dreams," Barnaby said, "but only those with brave hearts can see them."

Hand in paw with the gentle bull, Lily followed the silver stream through moonlit forests. They jumped over glowing mushrooms and slid down rainbow-colored rocks. Finally, they reached a pool where crystals floated like tiny stars.

Lily gathered them carefully, feeling warm tingles on her fingers. Barnaby ate the magical vitamins, and something amazing happened.

His hair began to shine! Golden light spiraled upward, the silver cables glowing stronger and brighter. They stretched into the sky, connecting stars that had grown dim.

"Thank you, Lily," Barnaby nuzzled her hand. "Your kindness brought back the light."

That night, children everywhere dreamed brighter dreams. And Lily learned that even the smallest helpers can make the biggest difference—all it takes is courage, friendship, and a heart full of wonder.
