The Bull Who Learned to Swim

Barnaby was not like other bulls. While they chased cows and snorted in fields, Barnaby gazed at the sparkling pond behind the farmer's house, dreaming of something impossible.

"Bulls don't swim," said the old horse, Fancy, flicking her tail.

But Barnaby couldn't help it. Every afternoon, he tiptoed to the pond's edge and watched the magic happen. Golden scales flashed like tiny underwater stars. A little goldfish named Finn swam to the surface, blowing bubbles that turned into rainbow letters before popping.

One day, Finn noticed the sad bull. "Why the long face?"

"I want to swim," Barnaby sighed. "But I'm too big and heavy."

Finn disappeared into the depths, then returned with something extraordinary — a glowing pearl that pulsed with blue light. "This isn't any ordinary pearl. It's a magic friendship vitamin from the underwater kingdom. One bite, and you'll float like a feather!"

Barnaby's nose twitched. Could he trust a fish?

"Only if you promise to visit me," Finn said. "Being underwater can be lonely."

Barnaby took a tiny nibble. Suddenly, his hooves felt light as dandelion fluff! He stepped into the pond and didn't sink — he floated! Down he swam, past swaying weeds and curious minnows, into a world of coral castles and treasure chests.

Finn showed him everything: the secret shell gardens where mermaids sang, the underwater library where fish read bubble-books, and the friendship pearl mine where kindness turned into magic.

"See?" Finn said. "Everyone needs a friend."

Barnaby visited every day, and soon he brought Fancy the horse, a shy duck, even the grumpy rooster. The pond became the most magical place on the farm.

Because Barnaby was brave enough to try something impossible, he discovered that the best vitamin isn't found in bottles — it's the magic of friendship, and it makes absolutely anything possible.
