The Bull Who Learned to Fly

Barnaby was a bull with a secret. While all the other bulls spent their days charging and snorting, Barnaby spent his mornings watching the butterflies dance. He wanted to fly more than anything.

One hot afternoon, a sleek orange fox named Fiona appeared by the pond where Barnaby sat watching dragonflies skim the water.

"Why the long face?" Fiona asked, dipping her paw in the cool water.

Barnaby sighed. "I wish I could swim like those dragonflies. But bulls don't swim. We just sink."

Fiona's eyes sparkled. "Oh, but you haven't tried the special way! My grandmother told me about Rainbow Pond, high on Misty Mountain. The water there holds magic vitamins from the stars. One sip, and you become lighter than a cloud!"

Barnaby's ears perked up. "Star vitamins?"

"Yes! Each drop is packed with courage-vitamin, float-vitamin, and dream-big-vitamin," Fiona explained. "But we have to climb there before sunset."

Together they climbed—Barnaby carrying Fiona across rocky streams, Fiona leaping ahead to find the safest path. When they finally reached Rainbow Pond, the water shimmered with every color imaginable.

Barnaby dipped his nose in and drank. Suddenly, his hooves felt weightless! He stepped onto the water's surface and—glip—glipped—began swimming!

"You're doing it!" Fiona cheered, paddling beside him.

But the real magic happened when Barnaby spotted a bird soaring above. With his new lightness, he leaped from the water and caught the wind, soaring for a magical moment before splashing down.

"I flew!" Barnaby beamed.

Fiona grinned. "The vitamins helped, but it was your brave heart that really did it. Sometimes the magic we need is already inside us."

That night, Barnaby didn't just dream of flying. He knew that with courage and friendship, even a bull could touch the sky.
