The Bull Who Hit Home Runs

Lily discovered something magical in her grandmother's garden. Behind the old oak tree stood a enormous brown bull with golden horns that sparkled in the sunlight. But this wasn't an ordinary bull—he wore a faded red baseball cap!

"Hello there!" the bull said in a deep, gentle voice. Lily nearly fell over with surprise.

"I'm Barnaby," the bull explained, lowering his massive head. "I'm the baseball champion of Magic Meadow, but I've lost my swing."

Lily's eyes grew wide. "You play baseball?"

"The best!" Barnaby sighed. "But lately, my hooves feel heavy. I can barely hit the ball past first base."

Lily's grandmother had once told her about special plants that grew in the garden. She rushed to her backpack and pulled out her grandmother's book. "Maybe I can help!"

Together, they searched the garden until Lily found bright orange flowers—sun-vitamin blossoms! Her grandmother said these special flowers captured sunshine and turned it into pure energy.

"Try one!" Lily suggested, holding out a flower.

Barnaby nibbled the flower and suddenly his eyes lit up. Golden sparkles danced around his horns! "I feel… fantastic! Like I could fly!"

Lily grabbed her baseball from her backpack. "Test your swing!"

Barnaby positioned himself in front of the old oak tree. He eyed the baseball Lily tossed, wound up his powerful legs, and—CRACK! The ball soared through the air, over the garden fence, and disappeared into the clouds.

"A home run!" Lily cheered, jumping up and down.

From that day on, every Saturday, Lily would bring sun-vitamin flowers to Barnaby. In return, the magical bull taught her how to hit perfect home runs. They became the unlikeliest of friends, proving that the best teams come in all shapes and sizes.

And sometimes, if you look carefully at the sky on a Saturday afternoon, you might still see a baseball flying among the clouds, hit by a bull who learned that friendship is the most powerful vitamin of all.
