The Bull Who Dreamed of Stars

Barnaby was no ordinary bull. While the other cows in Green Meadow Farm chewed grass and napped, Barnaby spent his days gazing at the clouds, imagining they were cotton candy kingdoms floating in the sky.

One sunny afternoon, young Lily ran across the meadow, her pigtails flying behind her. She was the only one who knew Barnaby's secret — he could talk!

"Barnaby!" she called, plopping down beside him. "Look what I found!" She held up her shiny iphone, its screen glowing like a tiny moon.

Barnaby's eyes widened. "What magical mirror is this?"

"It shows me pictures of the universe!" Lily tapped the screen, revealing swirling galaxies and twinkling stars. "Someday, I'll go there."

Barnaby sighed, his warm breath tickling the grass. "I wish I could see the stars too. But bulls are meant to stay on the ground."

"Not you!" Lily jumped up. "You're special!" She spotted something in the tall grass — an old, forgotten baseball. "I have an idea!"

Lily explained her plan, and Barnaby's heart fluttered like a butterfly. That night, when the moon rose high and silver, they put their plan into action.

Barnaby stood at the top of Honeycomb Hill, the baseball tucked carefully between his mighty horns. The old baseball was special — it had belonged to Lily's grandfather, who claimed it once caught a falling star.

"Ready?" Lily whispered.

Barnaby nodded. He began running, his hooves thundering against the earth. Faster and faster he ran, until the wind roared in his ears and the ground blurred beneath him. At the very peak of the hill, he tossed his head — and the baseball soared into the night!

Up, up, up it flew, spinning like a tiny planet. And then — something magical happened. The baseball burst into a thousand sparkles, each one becoming a brilliant new star in the sky.

Lily gasped. "You did it, Barnaby! You made new stars!"

Barnaby stood proud under the sky he had touched. "I may be a bull," he said softly, "but even bulls can reach for the stars."

From that night on, whenever Lily looked up at the constellation shaped like a bull's horns, she remembered: dreams have no size, and magic belongs to anyone brave enough to believe.
