The Bull Who Collected Stars

Leo loved running through the meadow behind his grandmother's house. His sneakers crunched against golden grass, and the wind whispered secrets in his ears. But one evening, while running as the sun dipped below the horizon, he discovered something magical.

A gentle bull with a coat like storm clouds stood beside a sparkling pyramid made entirely of glass jars. Each jar glowed with captured starlight.

"You're running too fast to notice the stars falling," the bull said. His voice rumbled like distant thunder, but his eyes were warm and kind.

Leo gasped. "You can talk?"

"I'm Barnaby, the Starkeeper Bull," the creature replied. "For five hundred years, I've collected fallen stars before they fade. This pyramid holds everyone's wishes."

Barnaby nudged a jar toward Leo. Inside, a tiny silver star swirled like captured moonlight.

"Make a wish, child. But remember—the best wishes are the ones you help come true yourself."

Leo wished for courage. When he opened his eyes, the pyramid's glow surrounded him, filling his heart with bravery.

"Now you must run home," Barnaby said. "But you'll never run alone again. Every time you need courage, look for my star in the sky."

That night, a new constellation appeared: a bull running beside a pyramid of stars.

Leo never stopped running, but now he ran with purpose. And whenever he spotted Barnaby's constellation glittering above, he knew magic was real—and the bravest wishes are the ones we chase ourselves.
