The Bull Who Collected Hats
Tommy skipped through the sunny meadow, searching everywhere. His favorite blue hat with the silver star was gone - snatched away by the mischievous wind! Grandma had given him that hat, and his heart felt heavy.
Then he saw something amazing.
A magnificent bull stood beneath an oak tree, but not like any bull Tommy had ever seen. This bull was purple with golden sparkles on his coat, and his eyes twinkled like stars. And there, perched jauntily on the bull's massive head, was Tommy's missing hat!
"You found it!" Tommy cheered, rushing forward.
The bull bowed gracefully. "I'm Barnaby," he rumbled softly. "And I collect beautiful hats. Would you like it back?"
Tommy nodded eagerly. Barnaby lowered his giant purple head, and Tommy carefully lifted his hat. But instead of putting it on, he placed it on the grass beside Barnaby.
"You keep it," Tommy said bravely. "It looks much better on you."
Barnaby's golden spots glowed brighter. "That's the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me!" His curly tail wiggled with joy. "For your kindness, I'll share my magic."
The bull touched his nose to Tommy's palm. Suddenly, Tommy's dad's iPhone, which Tommy had been carrying, began to glow with rainbow light. On the screen, magical messages appeared - not ordinary texts, but floating pictures of love from his parents, who were at work.
"They're sending me hugs!" Tommy gasped.
"In Magic Meadow, love travels instantly," Barnaby whispered. "Remember: kindness unlocks magic in unexpected places."
As the sun began to set, Barnaby faded into golden mist. Tommy's phone returned to normal, but the magical messages remained. He skipped home, heart full of wonder, knowing that somewhere in the meadow, a purple bull wearing a sparkly blue hat was watching over him.
And every day after that, Tommy left a small gift by the oak tree - never expecting anything in return, but always finding something magical waiting for him instead.
