The Bull Who Climbed the Sky Pyramid
Barnaby was not like other bulls. Most bulls spent their days grazing in green pastures or napping in the shade. But Barnaby had orange fur that shimmered like sunset, and hooves that sparkled when he ran. He spent every afternoon running across the meadows, racing the wind itself.
One evening, as Barnaby was running home, he noticed something amazing. A golden pyramid had appeared in the sky, glowing softly above the hills. It wasn't like the pyramids in books – this one floated among the clouds, pulsing with warm orange light.
"I'm going to climb it," Barnaby declared. The older bulls shook their heads. "Bulls don't climb sky pyramids," they said. "That's nonsense."
But Barnaby knew something important: the only impossible journeys are the ones you never start.
The next morning, he began running toward the floating pyramid. He ran through forests where trees whispered encouragement. He ran across rivers where fish jumped to cheer him on. He ran up the tallest mountain until he could almost touch the clouds.
Finally, he reached a point where the pyramid's golden light spilled onto the mountaintop. Barnaby took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and jumped.
Instead of falling, he landed on soft, glowing steps. The pyramid welcomed him! Inside, he found not gold or jewels, but something better – hundreds of lost dreams, floating like bubbles. There were dreams of flying cows, dancing chickens, and sheep who wanted to sing.
Barnaby realized the pyramid collected all the dreams that people thought were too silly to try. He gathered as many as he could carry in his mouth and began the journey back, running even faster than before.
When he returned, Barnaby blew the dreams across the valley. That night, cows began soaring over moonlit fields, chickens performed ballets, and the most magnificent choir of sheep sang the world to sleep.
From that day on, whenever anyone said "that's impossible," Barnaby would smile his orange smile and say, "Not for a bull who's willing to run toward it."
