The Bull Who Chased Lightning

Lily loved thunderstorms. While other kids hid under blankets, she pressed her nose against the window, watching the sky light up.

One rainy afternoon, Lily was exploring her grandfather's dusty attic when she spotted something peculiar—an old brass lamp shaped like a miniature pyramid. But this wasn't just any lamp. A frayed red cable dangled from its base, sparking slightly whenever thunder rumbled overhead.

Curious, Lily plugged the cable into the wall outlet. WHOOSH! The pyramid began to glow, spinning faster and faster until—ZIP!—a tiny bull no bigger than her hand tumbled out onto the attic floor.

The little bull shook his head and looked up at Lily with kind, twinkling eyes. "I'm Buster!" he squeaked. "And I've been stuck in that lamp for three hundred years!"

Lily gasped. "You can talk?"

"I can do more than talk!" Buster said proudly. "I can run faster than lightning itself! Watch this!"

Before Lily could stop him, Buster went running across the attic, his tiny hooves tapping like raindrops. With each step, he left behind a trail of sparkles that crackled like miniature lightning bolts.

"Wait!" Lily called, laughing as she chased after him. "Where are you going?"

"Outside!" Buster called back. "I haven't seen a real storm in centuries!"

Lily followed Buster down the stairs and out into the rainy backyard. Just then, a brilliant flash of lightning split the sky. Buster's eyes widened with delight.

"Beautiful!" he cheered. "You know what I missed most in that lamp? The excitement! The adventure! Being stuck in one place is so... boring."

Lily nodded thoughtfully. "I used to be scared of trying new things. I stayed inside a lot. But then I found you, and now we're having an adventure together!"

Buster smiled. "The best adventures happen when you're brave enough to step outside your comfort zone. Even when there's a little lightning involved."

As the storm faded, Buster led Lily back inside. He hopped onto her windowsill. "I'll stay with you, Lily. Together, we'll chase every adventure that comes our way—stormy or sunny."

And from that day on, Lily never let fear keep her from exploring. With her magical bull friend by her side, every day became a new adventure worth chasing.
