The Bull's Starlight Baseball

Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every evening after dinner, he'd practice pitching in his backyard with his trusty dog, Buster, barking happily as he chased the ball. But tonight something magical happened.

Leo threw his favorite baseball higher than ever before. It soared past the clouds, past the moon, and disappeared among the stars. Buster whined sadly, his tail drooping.

"Don't worry, buddy," Leo said, patting his dog's soft head. But then, something amazing tumbled from the sky—not a baseball, but a magnificent creature made of stardust and moonlight. It was a great bull with constellation patterns shimmering on his silver coat.

"You have a strong arm, little one," the bull spoke in a voice like distant thunder. "In my world, we play baseball with falling stars. Would you like to be my friend and play?"

Leo's eyes widened. "Yes! But how do we reach your world?"

The bull lowered his giant horn. "Climb onto my back, and bring your dog too. We'll travel through the Waterfall of Wishes."

Leo and Buster climbed onto the bull's back. Whoosh! They shot upward faster than a rocket, flying through a shimmering waterfall that flowed upward instead of down. Each droplet was a different color, and when the water touched them, Leo felt braver, kinder, and full of wonder.

They arrived at a field made of soft clouds, where baseball bases were twinkling planets. The other players were all constellations—Orion the Hunter, Cassiopeia the Queen, and Ursa Major the Great Bear.

They played the most magical game ever. When Leo hit the ball, it turned into a rainbow of shooting stars. When the bull pitched, the ball became a comet. Buster barked at comets and caught them in his mouth, turning them into sparkles that rained down on Earth as fireflies.

"That's the secret," the bull whispered as the game ended. "Every firefly you see? Those are our baseballs. And every time a child makes a wish on a shooting star, that's us hitting a home run."

Leo nodded slowly. "So playing together makes magic for everyone?"

"Exactly," the bull smiled. "Friendship and play create the brightest magic of all."

The bull returned Leo and Buster home, tucking a glowing baseball into Leo's pocket. "Keep this. Whenever you feel lonely, hold it, and we'll be playing together in the stars."

That night, Leo fell asleep dreaming of space baseball games. Outside his window, hundreds of fireflies twinkled—each one a tiny, magical baseball, glowing with the light of friendship and wishes come true.
