The Bull's Secret Promise
Young Leo loved **running** through his grandfather's farm, past the old **palm** tree that stood like a friendly giant with its fronds waving hello in the breeze. But his favorite spot was the secret **swimming** hole behind the hills, where the water sparkled like diamonds in the sunlight.
One magical afternoon, Leo discovered something wonderful. The farm's big gentle **bull**, Bernie, was standing quietly at the edge of the swimming hole, peeking into the water with soft brown eyes full of wonder.
Tiny golden fish danced beneath the surface, their scales shimmering like miniature suns. Bernie had made friends with them! Every morning, the bull would lumber down to the pond, and the goldfish would swim right up to greet him. Leo watched in amazement as Bernie dipped his massive nose into the water, blowing gentle bubbles that made the fish dance and play.
"Why does a bull care about fish?" Leo whispered, but Bernie just gave him a look that said, "Size doesn't matter when it comes to friendship."
That summer, Leo became Bernie's secret helper. He learned that the biggest creature can have the gentlest heart, and the smallest friends can bring the biggest joy. Together, they discovered that true friendship sees beyond appearances.
By summer's end, Leo understood something important: the best friends often come in the most unexpected packages. And every time he ran past that palm tree, he'd wave at Bernie, knowing that somewhere nearby, tiny goldfish were swimming happily, safe under the protection of their giant friend.
