The Bull's Secret Garden

Luna followed her golden dog, Sunny, through the tall grass behind their house. The dog barked excitedly, his tail wagging like a metronome.

"What is it, boy? What did you find?" Luna whispered.

Suddenly, they burst through a hedge and Luna gasped. Before them lay a hidden garden she had never seen before. In the center sparkled a crystal-clear pool, and around it grew papaya trees with ripe orange fruit glowing in the sunlight.

But the most wonderful surprise was what stood beside the pool—a magnificent bull with soft brown fur and kind eyes. Luna froze, but Sunny trotted right up to him and wagged his tail.

"Don't be afraid," the bull said gently. "I'm Ferdinand. I've guarded this magical pool for many years."

Luna's eyes went wide. "You can talk?"

"Magic pools have magic guardians," Ferdinand smiled. "Would you like to play?" He nodded toward two padel rackets lying on the grass and a magical ball that shimmered like a star.

Luna had never played padel before, but Ferdinand taught her patiently. Sunny chased the ball whenever it went astray, barking happily. They played for hours, laughing as the bull gracefully moved despite his size.

When they grew tired, Ferdinand picked a papaya from the tree. "A reward for making a new friend," he said, splitting the fruit into three pieces.

As they sat by the pool eating the sweet, orange fruit, Luna realized something important. She had been afraid of Ferdinand because he was big and different, but he turned out to be the kindest friend she had ever made.

"The best friendships," said Ferdinand, as if reading her thoughts, "are the ones that surprise us."

That night, Luna dreamed of papaya trees and gentle bulls, knowing that tomorrow, Sunny would lead her back to the secret garden where magic and friendship grew together.
