The Bull's Secret Court

Lily loved summer mornings. Every day, she ran to the old oak tree behind her house with her **padel** racquet, practicing her swings against the wind. "One day I'll be a champion," she whispered to the leaves, but her heart always worried. What if she wasn't good enough?

One hot afternoon, something magical happened. A gentle **bull** with golden patches on his fur walked out of the forest. Lily froze, but the bull didn't charge. Instead, he nodded toward the river and started **swimming** with beautiful, graceful strokes!

"I'm Barnaby," the bull said, surfacing with a splash. Lily gasped — she'd never met a talking bull before! "Follow me, little one. I have something special to show you."

Barnaby led her through a hidden path to a secret clearing where a miniature padel court shimmered like stardust. "This is the Courage Court," Barnaby explained. "Hit the glowing ball into that tree, and you'll receive something magical — a **vitamin** for your heart."

Lily's hands trembled. "What if I miss?"

"Then you try again," Barnaby said wisely. "Courage isn't about never being afraid. It's about trying even when you ARE afraid."

Lily took a deep breath and swung. The ball arced perfectly through the air and struck the tree. Instantly, golden berries rained down. When she ate one, warmth spread through her chest — not from magic, but from believing in herself.

"The real vitamin was inside you all along," Barnaby winked. "Confidence grows when you practice being brave."

They spent the afternoon swimming in the river and playing padel under the sun. Lily returned every day, and with each visit, her confidence grew stronger. She learned that the magic wasn't in the court or the berries — the magic was in her heart, waiting to be discovered.

And sometimes, when she hit the ball especially well, she could hear Barnaby cheering from the forest, reminding her that every champion starts with courage.
