The Bull's Magical Padel Match
Lila loved visiting her grandmother's magical garden, especially on hot summer days. The garden had everything: flowers that sang, trees that told stories, and a sparkling pond with water so clear it looked like liquid diamonds.
One afternoon, Lila noticed something strange. The patch of spinach plants was wiggling! Not just swaying in the breeze—the leaves were actually moving. Then she saw it: a little zombie spinach plant pulled itself out of the soil and shuffled toward her on tiny root feet!
"Boo!" said the zombie spinach cheerfully.
Lila giggled. "You're not scary at all!"
"I'm not a scary zombie," the spinach explained. "I'm a magical one! Want to meet my friend?"
The spinach led Lila behind the old oak tree, where a massive bull was sitting sadly, staring at a padel racket lying on the grass.
"This is Ferdinand," the zombie spinach said. "He wants to play padel, but he's afraid he's too big and clumsy."
Ferdinand looked up with gentle eyes. "Everyone laughs when they see a bull holding a tiny racket."
Lila smiled. "My grandmother says magic comes from believing in yourself. Let's try!"
The zombie spinach hopped onto Ferdinand's shoulder for good luck. Lila filled a bucket with the special water from the sparkling pond—the same water that made the garden magical. She sprinkled it over the padel court.
"Ready?" Lila asked.
Ferdinand stood up, took a deep breath, and swung the racket. The ball sailed perfectly through the air! The zombie spinach cheered, jumping up and down on Ferdinand's shoulder.
They played all afternoon—Ferdinand, Lila, and the magical zombie spinach. The bull wasn't clumsy at all. He was graceful!
"Why were you so good?" Lila asked.
Ferdinand smiled. "Because spinach told me something important: being different doesn't mean being wrong. It just means being special."
That night, Lila learned two things: never judge a zombie spinach by its cover, and everyone deserves a chance to shine—even a bull who loves padel.
The magical garden had taught another beautiful lesson.
