The Bull's Magic Garden
Lily discovered the secret behind her house on a Tuesday morning. A stream of sparkling water flowed through the woods, making soft musical sounds as it bubbled over stones. The water shimmered with rainbow colors, and where it touched the ground, tiny flowers popped up and started singing.
That's where she met Barnaby, a gentle bull with a coat the color of sunset and eyes full of ancient wisdom. Barnaby wasn't scary at all – he was the guardian of the magical stream.
"This water," Barnaby said in his deep, warm voice, "holds the magic of friendship. But it only works for those who truly care about others."
He showed Lily his secret garden, where he grew something extraordinary: friendship vitamins. They weren't like the ones from the store. These were glowing fruits that pulsed with light – moonberries, sunpeaches, and starapples. When someone ate one, their heart filled with warmth and kindness, and they instantly wanted to help others.
One rainy afternoon, they found something strange blocking the stream. A little zombie boy sat curled up on the bank, looking as sad as a cloud with no silver lining. He wasn't scary – he looked like a regular child, only gray and tired, as if he hadn't smiled in a hundred years.
"I'm Zim," the zombie whispered. "Everyone runs away from me. I just want to watch the water."
Barnaby knelt beside him. "No one should be lonely, Zim. Here." He offered Zim a glowing moonberry.
Zim took a bite. Something magical happened – his gray cheeks turned pink, his eyes brightened, and for the first time, he smiled. The water sparkled brighter than ever, and the singing flowers burst into song.
"You weren't scary, Zim," Lily said, taking his hand. "You were just lonely."
Zim started visiting every day. He learned that the zombie curse wasn't permanent – it faded with friendship, kindness, and the magical vitamins from Barnaby's garden. Soon, his gray skin turned rosy and healthy, and he could run and play.
The three of them tended the garden together, sharing friendship vitamins with anyone who felt sad or lonely. Lily learned that sometimes the scariest-looking creatures just need someone to care. And Zim learned that friendship is the strongest magic of all – stronger than any curse, brighter than any star, and more refreshing than the magical water itself.
