The Bull of the Summer Sky

Ten-year-old Leo loved baseball more than anything. Every day after school, he'd grab his glove and worn baseball, heading to the empty lot near his house. But today, the sky grew dark as a storm rolled in.

"Just one more pitch," Leo whispered, winding up.

The ball sailed high—too high. It kept going up, up, up until it disappeared into the storm clouds above.

"No!" Leo cried. His favorite baseball, the one his grandpa had given him, was gone.

Suddenly, something tugged at his shoelace. A thick metal cable dangled from the clouds, gleaming with strange blue light. Before Leo could step back, the cable wrapped gently around his waist and lifted him into the sky!

Up through the clouds he soared, into a magical world where the sky was purple and the stars twinkled like friendly fireflies. And there stood a magnificent bull—except his fur was made of storm clouds, his eyes were lightning, and his horns were rainbows!

"You have a strong arm, young one," the Bull rumbled like distant thunder. "But your heart is stronger still."

In the Bull's massive hoof was Leo's baseball. "I caught it before it could fall to earth and be lost forever. But you must earn its return."

The Bull tossed the ball. It zoomed toward Leo like a shooting star. Leo reached out with his glove—SNAP! He caught it!

"Well done," the Bull boomed. "Always remember: courage isn't about never being scared. It's about reaching for your dreams even when you're trembling."

The cable lowered Leo gently back to his yard. The storm had vanished, leaving behind a perfect sunset.

From that day on, whenever Leo faced something scary, he'd squeeze his baseball tight and remember the Bull of the Summer Sky. And somehow, he always found the courage to keep swinging.
