The Bull in Leo's Baseball

Leo had the curliest, wildest hair in his whole class. It puffed around his face like a chocolate-brown cloud, and Leo hated it. Every morning, his mom tried to tame it with brushes and ribbons, but his hair always danced right back out again.

One sunny afternoon, Leo found something strange in the grass behind the baseball field. It was an old baseball, glowing with a soft golden light. When Leo picked it up, it felt warm in his hand, like a freshly baked cookie.

"Throw me!" whispered the baseball. Leo blinked. Had the ball just spoken?

He tossed the ball gently. But instead of flying through the air, it shot up into the blue sky and popped right through a fluffy cloud shaped like a sleeping bull.

Suddenly, the cloud bull opened its eyes. They were kind and brown, just like Leo's hair. The bull floated down on a small white cloud, smiling.

"Hello, Leo!" said the bull. "I'm Buster. I've been watching you play baseball for weeks. You have the most wonderful hair!"

Leo's eyes widened. "You... you like my hair?"

"Like it? I love it!" Buster's tail waggled happily. "Your hair looks just like my cloud family back home. Fluffy and free and full of magic!"

For the next hour, Leo and Buster played the most magical baseball game ever. When Leo hit the ball, it exploded into sparkles. When Buster caught it, rainbows appeared. Leo's wild hair bounced and danced with every run, and finally, he saw it through Buster's eyes — beautiful and special.

"You're lucky," Buster said before floating back up to his cloud family. "Your hair shows everyone you're full of magic inside."

The next day at school, when someone teased Leo's puffy hair, he just smiled. He knew the truth now. His hair wasn't messy — it was magical, just like him. And somewhere high above, a bull-shaped cloud winked down at its friend.
