The Boy With Starry Hair
Max had the most extraordinary HAIR anyone had ever seen. It wasn't just curly — it sparkled like tiny stars caught in a brown cloud. Every morning, his mother laughed trying to tame it. "It has a mind of its own," she'd say, shaking her head.
One rainy afternoon, Max discovered a rusty CABLE hidden behind his grandmother's old painting. When he gave it a gentle tug, something magical happened. A tiny elevator appeared, glowing softly! Max stepped inside, and whoosh — he was whisked up, up, UP through the clouds!
In the Cloud Kingdom, everything looked wrong. Colors were faded. Flowers drooped. Even the clouds moved sluggishly. Max met a magnificent BULL made of golden stardust with kind, sleepy eyes.
"Thank goodness you're here!" said the stardust bull. "Our kingdom has gone ZOMBIE — not scary like in stories, but sleepy and forgetful. The Dream Wells haven't been polished in forever. Without bright dreams, everything fades."
Max's hair began to shimmer brighter than ever. Somehow, he knew what to do. His magical hair could sense the drowsiest dreams! Max and the bull traveled from cloud to cloud, with Max's hair guiding them to dreams that needed waking.
They polished ancient Dream Wells. Max's laughter rang out like silver bells. Colors bloomed back. Flowers danced. The bull's eyes sparkled awake.
"You saved us," the bull nudged Max gratefully. "Your hair holds magic because you never stopped wondering."
That night, Max returned home with hair even wilder than before. But now he knew — sometimes the most ordinary things can hide the most extraordinary magic, especially if you believe in dreams.
