The Boy With Lightning Hair
Leo had the most extraordinary hair in the whole world. Whenever he felt excited, his brown curls would crackle and sparkle like tiny bolts of lightning, glowing soft blue in the dark. Other kids had normal hair. Leo had weather.
One rainy afternoon, Leo was hiding from bullies behind the old library when he discovered something strange — an antique iphone from long ago, buried in a box of forgotten things. The screen still worked, but instead of showing apps, it displayed swirling colors that moved like captured dreams.
"You found it," said a whispery voice. A tiny girl with moss-green eyes peeked around the bookshelf. "I'm Sophie. That phone shows magic, but it only works for people with special hearts."
Sophie led Leo to her grandmother's garden, where the most vibrant green spinach grew bigger than Leo's head. "Grandma says this spinach was grown from moonlight seeds," she explained. "One bite gives you courage."
Leo took a bite. Suddenly his hair blazed like a summer storm! Lightning danced around his head, forming shapes — dragons, castles, galaxies. The magical phone projected these images into the air, turning them into glowing stories that other children could see and touch.
Soon, children from all over came to watch Leo's lightning tales. But the bullies returned, mocking his special hair. Sophie stepped forward. "Different isn't bad. Different is magic."
Leo's hair crackled nervously, then he had an idea. He ate more spinach, and his lightning created the most beautiful thing ever — a glowing bridge of light that led the bullies to their own hidden talents. One could sing with birds. Another could make flowers bloom.
"Everyone has magic," Leo said, his hair shining warmly. "We just need to find it."
That night, Leo's phone lit up with a message: *The real lightning isn't in your hair. It's in your heart.*
Leo smiled. Some magic you could see. Some magic you could only feel. And the best magic of all was helping others find their own spark.
His hair still crackled with lightning, but now it glowed a little brighter — because happiness is the most powerful magic of all.
