The Boy Who Rode the Storm

lightningrunningbull

Ten-year-old Leo loved watching summer storms from his bedroom window. The way **lightning** danced across the dark sky made him feel like magic was real.

One evening, while thunder rumbled like a giant's tummy, Leo spotted something extraordinary. A magnificent creature made of storm clouds and starlight galloped across the sky. It had the horns of a great **bull** and a mane of crackling electricity.

"Come ride!" the Storm Bull's voice echoed like distant thunder. Leo's window swung open by itself, and suddenly he wasn't afraid anymore. He climbed onto the cloud-soft back, and they soared into the night.

They went **running** through galaxies painted in purple and gold, past planets that chimed like crystal bells. "Every lightning bolt you see," the bull explained, "is me painting the sky with joy."

Leo learned that the Storm Bull wasn't scary at all—just lonely. Nobody had ever wanted to see the magic in storms before. From that night on, whenever lightning flashed, Leo would wave at his friend, knowing that even the mightiest storms can be beautiful if you look with your heart.

And sometimes, on special stormy nights, the Bull would return, and together they'd race through the stars, spreading wonder wherever they went.
