The Bear With Rainbow Hair
Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house. One sunny morning, she discovered something magical—a glowing papaya tree that didn't exist yesterday! Its fruit shimmered like tiny stars.
As she reached for a papaya, a deep voice rumbled, "That's my breakfast!"
Lily gasped. Behind the tree stood the biggest bear she'd ever seen. But this wasn't an ordinary bear. His hair wasn't brown or black—it was every color of the rainbow! Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple strands flowed like a magical waterfall down his back.
"I'm Barnaby," the bear said kindly. "My hair changes color when I'm happy. And finding this papaya tree makes me VERY happy."
Lily's eyes widened. "Your HAIR does tricks?"
Barnaby chuckled. "Would you like to share this papaya? Friendship tastes better than eating alone."
Together, they sat on soft moss and shared the sweetest, juiciest papaya in the world. With every bite, Barnaby's rainbow hair sparkled brighter.
"Thank you for sharing," Lily said. "My mom says sharing is the most important thing."
"Your mother is wise," Barnaby nodded. "I learned that long ago. Once I had all the honey in the forest, but I was lonely. Now I have less honey, but I have friends who visit every day."
Lily understood. Things taste better and fun moments become magical when shared with friends.
"Come back tomorrow," Barnaby called as Lily skipped home. "I'll make my hair do extra sparkles just for you!"
That night, Lily dreamed of rainbow bears and glowing papayas, knowing the best adventures are the ones you share.
